Great Horned OWwl
Description
This large and powerful owl is common in North America. A good time to photograph them is in the wintertime. Owls with yellow eyes are active and hunt during the day. The owl's eyes are stationary meaning they cannot move them from side to side as humans can. To make up for this they can rotate their heads up to 270 degrees or more to see on both sides and behind them.
